The 7th International Stainless Steel Exposition (STEXPO 2011) will be held on Sept. 6-8, 2011 in Shanghai. Running every two years, it is by far the largest stainless steel exhibition in Asia.
As a biennial event, STEXPO is hosted by China Iron & Steel Association (CISA) and the Metallurgical Council of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (MC-CCPIT), and is co-organized by Stainless Steel Council of the China Special Steel Enterprises Association (SSC-CSSEA)
The previous session, STEXPO2009 saw 119 exhibitors, coming from 9 countries and regions, totaling an area of 10,000m2. The professional buyers arrived at 5,012. STEXPO has gained the gracious support from the Ministry of Commerce (MOC). STEXPO 2011 has been included into MOC's published list of exhibitors which are recommended for 2011. To promote stainless steel industry, the Department of Commerce of Zhejiang Province,issued a document to call for the enterprises to exhibit. The government of Songyang County organized a pavilion to exhibit at the show. In order to seek expert visitors, the organizer, together with WinTang, will arrange Purchase and Exchange Meeting ofStainless Steel Materials and Products at the show time. By the classifications of coils,strip, pipe, section, bar, wire, invitation will be made to the targeted purchasers and traders. Meanwhile, the organizerwill invite local governments toorganize purchase delegations to the show and the meeting. Up to the endof June, there are approximately 100 domestic and overseas exhibitors applying for the show. Exhibitors include Baosteel, Tisco, Jiuquan Steel, Posco, Dongbei Special Steel, etc.
